In compliance with the instructions contained in the C.O. Despatch No 68 of 18th April last I give the following very approximate estimate of the amounts that may be required to meet expenditure necessary in England on account of the Praya works.
During present year Requisition dated 3rd June for Plant and Cement £3,600
In future years 38,000 Barrels Cement including freight (@16/-) £30,400 other Plant and Sundries say £3,000
Total: £34,000
If the expenditure (exclusive of that of the present year) be distributed over 4 years the average expenditure would be £8,350, Unless the works are pushed with
